Climbing lifes Mountains Devotional 85

Have you ever tried to climb a mountain? Are you aware that sometimes and more than not climbing mountains are never the easy things in life. So why do people do it? Is it for a rush of adrenaline? Is it for the thrill to try some new adventure so what happens when people face mountains, where do we turn? Have you heard the expression mountains and molehills? What does it , what happens when you face the mountains that are difficult to climb in life. What do you do? Any type of stress, depression or uneasy dilemma can turn into a mountain. Mountains in life can challenge, sometimes to the very brink of disaster. As one that faced depression I can say its not easy, no amount of drugs , alcohol can help you. Sometimes you feel like your body is crumbling and your life is filled with dark clouds. It seems like lately my life has been filled with the message that we are faced with mountains but don't stress because Jesus overcame the world. Stay Calm and have steady faith in God. Your faith can move mountains. Now Country music isn't my favourite style of music but I'm reminded in this one song. "Walking is easy when the road is flat, but the hills will get you every time. God gave us mountains so we can learn how to climb."

It's so true because without mountains in life, how will people ever learn to overcome the biggest difficulties?

Mark 11:23 (The Message)
22 -25Jesus was matter-of-fact: "Embrace this God-life. Really embrace it, and nothing will be too much for you. This mountain, for instance: Just say, 'Go jump in the lake'—no shuffling or shilly-shallying—and it's as good as done. That's why I urge you to pray for absolutely everything, ranging from small to large. Include everything as you embrace this God-life, and you'll get God's everything. And when you assume the posture of prayer, remember that it's not all asking. If you have anything against someone, forgive—only then will your heavenly Father be inclined to also wipe your slate clean of sins."
